Music is an unspoken, international language that touches the hearts of people with joy, happiness and peace. Music can bring people together, no matter what situations they face in their lives. Nothing should hinder us from enjoying music, not age, ability, disability, financial status or living condition. Music is for everyone.
We are proud to be “sharing music with others” by offering free instrumental music lessons to all and by providing free concerts at hospitals, nursing homes, senior retirement communities and schools. The students study the many different styles of music and composers. We use various teaching methods to help the students learn and improve their skills. Our goal is not necessarily to achieve perfection, but to develop a love for music. The discipline that is learned from practicing a musical instrument can then be used to meet and overcome other obstacles and challenges in everyday life.
It is a great honor to work with the Fresno Philharmonic and Make A Wish Foundation and others in our community to show appreciation and give opportunity to share music with others. We are very excited to support the music programs of Fresno County by raising funds for music scholarships. These scholarships will be offered to graduating high school seniors who will be majoring in music at a college, university or specialized school.
We are committed to continue “sharing music with others” through free instrumental music lessons and concerts. Thank you for your support of music with your children in schools and through non-profit organizations like Wilbert Rimper’s Music Sharing, Inc.
